the Poppies!!

I've never seen a field full of poppies before. Sunflowers? Sure! Corn? You betcha. Cotton, even? Oh yeah! I just have to say these poppies were stunning! Jana wanted a family shoot done in the poppies so when that field finally exploded into bloom we ran out there to give it a go. The results were fantastic!

I ended up running back out there with my mom (who is visiting from Alabama) to show her that same night. Here are a couple of my landscape shots from later on:

a Lifestyle shoot

Jana and I wanted to schedule a family shoot but she really wanted to wait for the poppies in Mantua to bloom for the pictures. (Now that I've seen that poppy field I don't blame her!) In the meantime I suggested we try a "lifestyle" shoot with her kids in their home. It was so much fun! They pulled out their favorite toys and books and told me all about them as I snapped away. I was even invited back by the oldest to play again! Thanks guys, that was awesome!

Leah's Bridals

This shoot was a bit challenging! Our schedules never seemed to match up. Between her mom (planning a wedding and reception and working), Leah (the same) and me (moving!) - we had a busy month! We finally got together at noon (!!!the worst time of the day to shoot!!!) and got some pretty cool shots. Enjoy!

Open For Business In Brigham City! Allie's Senior Portraits

Welcome to Sweet Tea Photography! I've started accepting clients in Brigham City and thought I'd share some of the photos from those sessions here. For more current photos and updates (and a few sneak peaks)  follow me on Facebook using the button to the right or following the link here:

Here are a few of my favorites from the senior session I did with Allie in May. It was raining on and off but we managed to have some fun and create some great pictures for her senior invitations. Enjoy!
